| Did u tell lies to the others? Actually, everyone did it. It could be a joke ,trick. or an excuse. i used to think that one who know how to tell a perfect lie is smart. They can make good use of the tone an facial expression . it seems to be a great knowlege. Recently, i always tell lies. The reason is that i don't hve the ability to convince the others. But those who are convinced ar not smart. They believe everthing they saw and listened. Then i finally find that one that can identify a lie is much smarter than the one that tell a perfect lie. | | |
| 8/7 - 10/7 Camp It 's the third time i went to that camp site, but i had differenct feelings each time. This time... very free, happy but very tired. Three-day camp is a little bit long to me. Wht impress me most is the bed talk,which let me know each other more. I can see many potential successful person around me. i learn 麻雀, ....... a gd memory 13/7 Interview I did not perform very well. 5 interviewees were assessed by 2 professors. 45 mins interview..... actually is not too long. The questions are quite interesting. One is like that," Comment on the dressing or acessories of other candidates." He said archi is related to fashion....... really? 2 of the candidates hve 1 A in AL exams (Pure Maths) , one of them are the Hk representative of sports, quite competitive for me. | | |
| u can say that i get through AL exams, at least all pass. But looking back, i don't hve "A" in CE and AL exams, only seldom appear in the component which no one cares abt that. If u ask me abt this performance, i would like to say " it's OK for language but not OK for AL exams, especially physics, i spent the longest time studying and analysing that, but it finally did not pay off" No matter how the results are, i hve to thanks all my fds, especially Cyrus. Sitting next to u really can learn many things, especially when we ask each other abt the sythesis. My last hope is that i can get good grade in diploma level of the piano exams next year. P.S. | Is piano diploma difficult? Very difficult, especially oral. But i want to take it,..... One of the questions: " Other than technical security and musical sensitivity, what factors contribute to a successful recital"? Expected answer (distinction): - variety of mood, style and key when selecting composer ( Bach to Beethoven)
- communication with audience, eg eye contact with an unstressed manner
- appropriate dress------show your personality
Another question: " Is playing from memory helpful to a harpist?" Expected answer (distinction): - From the point of view of performer
- page turning distract the performance - gain expressive freedom, more focus on tone quality, flow of the overall performance * From the point of view of audience - stage presentation should be natural - visual and techinical aspects of playing the harp How can i answer these answers? | | |
| All al exams finished!!! Yesterday is my oral exam. Topic is "tradition of China". I don't know how to pronounce 'calligraphy' which is the theme of the passage. Overall performance : not good ( E or above) Our gp doesn't have 'strong' candidates. Therefore our discussion is just like free talk, no one lead the diss...
